Harness Manufacture
Macrowatt started out small in 1983 around JHB CBD and grew steadily over the years. The current management took over the operations in 1997 moving the factory to new premises that were tailor made for ease of harness manufacture covering extensive range and application.
The company continues to hold its own in a very competitive market and volatile economy.
PVC Cable Manufacture
Gihon Cables was opened in 2003 due to the demand in fine wire extrusion and cabtyre manufacture, offering a better turn around in manufacturing times for Macrowatt than what was being offered by leading wire producing suppliers. The quality of extruded fine wire is unrivalled. Range is limitless. Not a Macrowatt subsidiary, Gihon Cables is a separate entity but is an integral part of the Macrowatt harness production process.
Moulding Division
Macrowatt overmoulds a wide range of products from Connectors, Grommets, Modular Cable Glands and DB Connectors, covering light electrical industry to the mining industry. Involved with the customer in the process of mould designs for industry specific application.
Harness Division
Macrowatt processes all wire and cable products including modular and retractable curly cords.

All processes are strictly controlled at all levels of manufacture.
Manufacture is tailored made to suit customer needs utilizing in house design or diagrams/drawings issued.
Extensive electronic tests jigs manufactured in house for quality control purposes.
